What are your insider tips to help people have a great trip to The County?

Book your transportation if you plan on going to multiple wineries/breweries. I recommend Prince Edward County Wine Tours. Some of their drivers speak french and they are very acknowledgeable. Also, plan in advance, reservations for restaurants are highly recommended especially in the summer.

If PEC had its own anthem, what would be the perfect song to represent it?

Ginette Reno : Des Croissants de Soleil (it's a Quebecois classic! a song about waking up with sunshine, love and croissant and eating happiness for breakfast)

What's your perfect day in The County?

First, a coffee and croissant at Beacon Bike and Brew, followed by a quick stop at the skatepark. I might stop in and browse for a graphic novel at Books and Co so that I can enjoy it later at the beach. If it's market season, I'll grab some snacks and drinks at the Picton Farmer's Market before filling my car with my dog and friends for a beach day until it's "apero" time. Then, it's off to Slake for the view and some relaxation. For dinner, I'll likely head to one of my favourite restaurants, such as Stella's Eatery or Darlings. If I still have some energy left, I'll check out a concert or art event at Base 31 or enjoy some local music – there's always a party somewhere! But I might also just chill with friends by a bonfire, gazing up at the stars.
