The Wilfrid

South Marysburgh

Accommodation, Wine, Spa, French Speaking

If you like exploring culinary experiences in great comfort and have an appreciation for detail, you’ve come to the right place. The Wilfrid's owners are your bed & breakfast hosts, Frank and Nancy. They are a chef and designer duo who offer curated stays with incredible multi-course brunches in their 1850’s restored farmhouse.

With a strong focus on sustainability from every level, this is definitely not your average bed and breakfast! Your stay includes all the luxury amenities of a boutique hotel and a farm-to-table brunch each morning (get ready for one of the most memorable meals you'll ever have before noon!).

The Wilfrid is located on 5 acres with century barns, a vineyard, and a Scandinavian sauna facility. Feel right at home, worlds away from the every day as you enjoy wine from their cellar, late afternoon caviar and oyster service, and star gazing from the fire pit in the evenings. Relax at one of the outdoor lounge areas or curl up with a book by the fireplace in the library. Escape from the bustle and walk to top wineries, watch the sunset from the century old barn, nap in a hammock or sweat out the last of the city stress in the private outdoor sauna and water circuit.

A short 12 minute drive to Picton Main Street and only 20 minutes from Sandbanks Provincial Park, it's nice to know that you'll have this peaceful respite to reach after your day of exploring in Prince Edward County. Choose from one of 3 unique rooms, each with en-suite modern bathroom, designer linens, organic bath products and Turkish towels. For a truly exclusive stay, sauna and dine experience be sure to check out their Private Retreat. No matter how long you stay, you'll leave both rested and inspired.
